TAHDCO organizes short duration skill up gradation Programmes for SC/ST members of women SHGs to enable them to start self employment ventures.  

10805 SC/ST SHG women members were given skill training in 2005

Programmes are organized in the villages by recognized agencies/NGOs

Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) of 7 days duration has been organized by TAHDCO, for 38,741 women SC/ST members of SHGs through the Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women Ltd.
